Rod Puppets are pure magic. They come alive like no other puppet with their wonderful movement and gesture. Children become friends with them, talk with them, hug them. I can't recommend having this kind of puppet in your repertoire enough! This little pixie just makes you smile.
I call it the Heart Puppet because it open hearts and imagination like no other puppet can.
We will create our rod puppet, learn how to bring it to life through manipulation practice, so that you will be confident in bringing movements and gestures that are joyful and meaningful, and awaken total Wonder for all.
You will learn how to tell a tale with your puppet on a lap stage, and on a simple table stage. When the course is over you will feel absolutely capable of using this kind of puppet and sharing joy wherever you go!
