'A Year of Writing' - Regional Colorado In-Person Walkabout Tales Program - Writing Stories for Children Inspired by Nature - Begins September 2019
'A Year of Writing' Walkabout Tales Program - September 2019
Welcome! This is a regional Colorado 'in-person' program on the art of writing for children inspired by nature - 'Walkabout Tales'. It is based on walking, observing, and writing in nature settings in the Boulder County area. In this course we will meet monthly my home in Lafayette on Saturdays from 9-4 for one year, and be guided through a wonderful process of contemplative nature walking in a quiet, open-hearted way, noticing what speaks to you, and allowing those experiences to spark your story.
Each month we meet, I will bring new content and step by step writing exercises, then we go out in nature, to go walkabout writing. You will receive individualized helpful comments on your writings each month, and throughout the year, with ideas, support, and general cheerleading! We will share our writing with the group, as you will all learn so much from each other as well.
The course will also look at ways to edit, and share your work, getting published, how to establish yourself as a writer on social media and in your community. By the end of the year you will have at least 15 stories and can be well on your way to developing a part time income stream from your work.
This will be a small group so do sign up soon if interested. Please email me, email@example.com for further information or if you have additional questions.
Payment Plans are available to spread your cost over the year. Discuss your options with Suzanne.
This will be the 8th Walkabout Tales Program. It is a wonderful creative renewal for all who take it.
We will go over the year's dates together and may alter some.
The course is $1200. for the year.
If this course excites you and you would like to sign up to hold your spot, you can click the 'add to cart' button above and pay the $175. deposit online via our secure online store. You will receive an email receipt. The deposit is non-refundable and is part of the yearly cost.
