Young children connect deeply to workers doing their activity. Just this week my grandson watched with interest and wonder at tree trimmers pruning my VERY big Ash tree. He loves to watch me do the laundry, wash the dishes, weed in the garden... and immediately imitation play or imitation real activities begin, they blossom like a healthy garden. In this course we are going to focus step by step on how to write about the most mundane of daily chores that surround our children. Then we will find a story way to elevate the mundane tasks of daily work...as Thomas Moore has said, we will bring 'the extraordinary to the ordinary'. Not is a fantastical way, rather, we will see some kind of magic, beauty, worthiness in the daily work.
We will be looking for moments when the mundane becomes spiritual
all are welcome, no writing experience is necessary... just an open heart.
You may work on this wonder-filled course at your own best times, and you keep the course for later referral, I promise you will want to keep writing stories that inspire the most simple things in the hearts of our children. Lessons with action steps (assignments) have a community sharing area to post your writing and I will be there to support you further, a cheerleader and guide!
